Locations

Cowley College offers classes at multiple locations in South Central Kansas as well as online. Regardless of where you live or your educational objective, students have access to to instructional locations and delivery modalities designed to support academic achievement and personal enrichment.

ADMISSIONS/ENROLLMENT CENTERS
Arkansas City, Mulvane, Wellington and Wichita

Admissions staff assist prospective and current students with the application process, assessment, required documentation, financial aid, degree planning, and enrollment. Admissions Representatives are available at the Arkansas City Campus, the Sumner Campus in Wellington, the Mulvane Campus, and the Wichita Center.

Students are responsible for working closely academic advisor and an Admissions representative to plan coursework that supports appropriate transfer of college credit to public and private four-year colleges and universities.

COWLEY COLLEGE MAIN CAMPUS - Arkansas City, Kansas

The Cowley College campus is conveniently located near the heart of downtown Arkansas City, Kansas. The 21 building, 13-acre campus is a beautifully landscaped blend of modern and traditional facilities.

The campus facilities include a performing arts center, modern academic classrooms and science laboratories, residence halls, a dining hall, bookstore, library, wellness center, and additional student support spaces. The Sports Complex includes a training center, baseball field, and a track and field facilities. Additional information is available through Life at Cowley.

A Technical Education Center is located on the Arkansas City, Sumner(Wellington), and Mulvane, campuses that offer Nondestructive Testing, Automotive Service, Welding, Machine & Tool, and Manufacturing Technology programs. For more information, call 620-441-5279.

The Adult Education Center, located on the Arkansas City and Sumner/Wellington campuses, supports learners in developing and improving academic skills, workplace readiness, and preparation for the GED® final exam. Adult Education courses are offered at a minimum cost to the students.

COWLEY COLLEGE ONLINE

Cowley College Online, an inatructional branch of Cowley College, is organized to meet the needs of students who pursue coursework through distance education. Fully accredited online degrees and certificates are available and designed to be transferable.

Many students take combine online coursework with face-to-face instruction to supplement, enhance, or accelerate progress toward degree or certificate completion. Students are required to complete the Blackboard Orientation course prior to accessing online or hybrid courses through the Blackboard Learning Management System. ACADEMIC OUTREACH CENTERS

In addition to the Arkansas City campus and online instruction, Cowley College offers courses and student support services at the locations in Winfield, Mulvane, and Wellington, as well as select area high schools.

Allied Health Center - Winfield, Kansas

The Winfield Allied Health Center, home to widely popular Emergency Medical Technician program, is dedicated to providing excellent healthcare education in many disciplines including Fire Science, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) & Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) related classes. Cowley’s partnership with Butler Community College provides students the opportunity to complete Butler’s RN (Associate Degree in Nursing) program at the Allied Health Center in Winfield.

Mulvane Campus - Mulvane, Kansas: Cowley College offers courses at two primary locations in Mulvane.  

The Mulvane Science, Engineering and Academic Center located at 430 E. Main Street in Mulvane, Kansas offers General Education and Science & Technology courses along with Allied Health, C.N.A. and EMT classes. Enrollment/Advising, assessment, and student support services are available to students at this Mulvane location.

The Mulvane Career and Technical Education Center

The Mulvane Career and Technical Education Center is located at 201 Industrial Drive in Mulvane, Kansas. Students can earn Vocational Certificates and Associate of Applied Science degrees in Automotive Technology, Welding Technology and Nondestructive Testing.

Sumner Campus at Wellington

The Sumner Campus in Wellington is home to the Short General Education Center, located at 2208 Davis-Whip Loop, and the Technology and Innovation Center, located at 2205 Shurtz-Juden Loop. The Short General Education Center offers general education classes and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses, while the Technology and Innovation Center offers programs in manufacturing, agricultural studies, and computer science and information technology. Residence halls and the Tiger Eatery are also located on campus.

Wichita Center

The Wichita Center is located at 7330 W. Maple St., Wichita, KS 67209. Admissions staff provide assessment, enrollment, and advising services and are available to assist students in meeting their educational goals. This location also serves as a bookstore pick‑up and drop‑off site for student convenience.

ITV Classrooms

The college has Interactive Television (ITV) classrooms linking the Arkansas City and Mulvane locations, as well as other area high school outreach locations. Cowley College is an active member of the South Central Kansas Distance Learning Network in partnership with area school districts.

Community Enrichment and Education

Cowley College offers a variety of credit and non-credit educational opportunities that allow you to expand your knowledge, improve your skills, and enrich your life.

Adult Education Programs (ABE, ASE, GED, College Prep., and ESL)

Cowley College encourages individuals who have not completed their high school education to take advantage of the Adult Education Program on the Cowley Campus in Arkansas City. Students are able to take the official GED Test at the Pearson Vue Certified Testing Center conveniently located in the adult education department and can earn a Kansas State High School Diploma. The Adult Education program also offers basic skills instruction to aid with college preparation, entrance, and transition. English as a Second Language classes are offered in the evenings for English language learners who wish to improve or retain employment, transition to college, or increase social skills. Cowley College Golden Tigers

The Golden Tigers program serves community members age 50 and older by offering educational and enrichment opportunities that promote social, intellectual, physical, and personal well‑being. Programming includes short‑term courses, workshops, and educational excursions offered during fall and spring semesters.

Workforce & Community Education

Workforce & Community Education provides customized training for business and industry partners to improve productivity, safety, and workforce readiness. Training may be tailored for new or incumbent employees across a wide range of industries. Contact the Director of Workforce & Community Education.

Community education workshops include both credit and non‑credit offerings such as allied health recertification, industrial trades, motorcycle safety, computer literacy, and online continuing education. For information, contact the Director of Workforce & Community Education.
