ENG2261 - Fiction Writing 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Schedule Note: Spring only Description: A course designed to analyze fiction and encourage the writing skills of students through use of various methods of brainstorming and fiction writing. Emphasis is on identifying and analyzing writing elements and techniques, generating ideas, modeling professional fiction writing, and critiquing and revising one’s own writing and the works of others. Critical analysis of writings will be used to aid in developing students’ thinking, support of thesis/message, and style.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or higher in ENG2260 - Creative Writing (T►) (SGE) or instructor approval.
