AGR1227 - Livestock Artificial Insemination ($) 1 hour(s) Elective Type: Technical ($) Special Funding Identifier: KS Excel in CTE Initiative Description: An introduction to physiological processes involved in artificial insemination of livestock. Processes examined will include anatomy of both male and female reproductive tracts, function of gonads, hormone function and usage, fertility, processes and equipment. Students will also receive instruction in an overview of how the full process works and can be used to benefit the producer.
NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require instructor’s approval.
