KLETC or Equivalent Law Enforcement Training Academy- Student shall receive stated credit transcripted upon proof of completion submitted to Cowley College, indicating the student successfully completed the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) or another equivalent and recognized training academy. An equivalent academy is considered an institution able to grant state credentials as a certified law enforcement officer covering all the basic requirements for the student to serve in that capacity. An equivalent academy must meet a minimum of 480 classroom hours of instruction.
