ALH5235 - Allied Healthcare Provider Anatomy and Physiology 4 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Description This course is designed to provide an overview of anatomy, physiology, and basic pathology for students who wish to know more about the human body and disease. It would be very useful for students who are currently functioning in healthcare or those who plan to enter the allied health workforce (e.g. medical transcription, medical coding, nursing assistant, etc.). It is not intended to replace the five credit hour anatomy and physiology course for those who intend to enter professional training in the health sciences (e.g. nursing, medicine, etc.).
Prerequisite(s): None, though completion of BIO4110 - Biology Review would be helpful.
