Description This course is designed to increase awareness and fluency in various genres of the arts, including art, drama, literature, and music. Emphasis will be placed on critical development, historical perspectives, interrelationships between individual genres, and the role of artistic expression in a free society. When appropriate, actual or virtual field trips to museums, galleries, and performances will be incorporated into the schedule.
