BIO4119 - Environmental Biology with Lab 5 hour(s) Elective Type: Laboratory Science Kansas Regents Shared Number: [KRSN BIO1040] Description Topics include the relationship of the human species to the environment. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of the basic and ecological principles and the ecological crises confronting the human species Survey studies of bodily, aquatic, and terrestrial ecosystems are included. Aspects of health ecology also are covered in the course. The lab component of the course provides hands on labs, field experiences, and case studies that promote critical thinking about factors affecting the environment.
