The Fire Science certificate will prepare the student to enter the workforce as an entry-level firefighter. Certificate completers will also be prepared to obtain the Hazardous Material Operation-Level certification, the Firefighter I and Firefighter II certifications, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
