 KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM   

Machining & Manufacturing Technology Cert A provides entry level skills in blueprint reading, safety, shop theory, setup and operation of conventional machine tools including lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders, basic operations and setup of CNC machines as identified as necessary by machine tool employers and serves as the foundation for the Associate of Applied Science degree.

NOTE: Students are expected to demonstrate understanding and mastery of skills needed for career readiness as they progress through program coursework.  A minimum grade of “C” is required on all technical coursework for successful completion of the technical certificate or degree.
