Software, Security & Development (Technical Certificate A and Certificate B)


 KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM   


Students can earn a Technical Certificate A by completing a minimum of 27 hours from the Computer coursework options listed below. With continuing coursework, students can progress towards completing a Techncial Certificate B (42 hours) or the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree (62 hours) in Software, Security and Development.

Technical Requirements for CERT A (27 hours)


Students should complete at least 27 hours of Technical Requirements of courses while following one of the outlined pathways focusing on Software Development/Coding; Networking or Cybersecurity in order to earn a Technical Certificate A.

Additional Requirements for Technical CERT B (15 hours)


After completing the 27 hours in one of the Certificate A emphasis areas, students can continue on to earn a Technical Certificate B by completing the following 15 hours of courses.
