Child Care and Development Degree Pathway (AAS)


Upon completion, our Associate of Applied Science in Child Care and Development will qualify you to direct a center of 100 children as well as teach and/or administrate in childcare centers. With an associate degree in Child Care and Development, you can start a career as a childcare director, childcare teacher, or special education paraprofessional.

NOTE: This degree program will not prepare you for teacher licensure for teaching in a public or accredited private school as required by the Kansas State Department of Education. Students desiring to obtain teacher licensure should follow the Early Childhood Education pathway options.
