 KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM

The Criminal Justice field is a stable field that is continuing to grow at a dramatic rate. Despite economic conditions, there will always be a need for dedicated criminal justice professionals. The Criminal Justice Associate of Applied Science degree at Cowley College, together with the state mandated KLETC requirement, will prepare the student for entry into a successful criminal justice career.

Pathway Code: CRJB (CIP: 43.0107)

General Education Requirements (15 hours)

Technical Requirements (53 hours)

Total Hours 68

NOTE: Since courses are only offered every other school year in the traditional classroom setting, program students must enroll in all regular courses offered each semester and one Criminal Justice Internship class by sequence currently offered. Online or ITV courses do not follow the same schedule.

Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program.
