Machine Tool Technology Cert A provides entry level skills in blueprint reading, safety, shop theory, setup and operation of conventional machine tools including lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders, basic operations and setup of CNC machines as identified as necessary by machine tool employers and serves as the foundation for the Associate of Applied Science degree.
*Industry Registered Apprenticeship program should take MTT3570 CNC Machining in lieu of MTT3566 to complete program and should take INR3716 Technical Math in lieu of MTT3569 Workplace Ethics and INR3718 OSHA 10 to complete Vocational Certificate A.

Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program.
