KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM
Pharmacists prepare and dispense drugs prescribed by doctors. They also advise patients, doctors, and other health care professionals on proper doses and drug interactions. They must know what is in a drug, how it works, and how it affects people with different illnesses or injuries. Pharmacy programs focus on chemistry, biology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology.

Recommended Transfer Pathway Electives (15 hours minimum)*
The Associate of Science degree requires a minimum of 15 hours of pathway electives. Students should work with their advisor and transfer institution to determine the most appropriate courses within this block.
In addition to the recommended transfer electives, PSY6720 - First Year Experience (FYE) is highly recommended as an elective for students enrolled in this pathway.
Minimum Hours for a Degree 62*
*A minimum of 62 hours is required to earn a Cowley degree; however additional credit hours may be outlined on the transfer pathway to meet the program requirements for a transfer institution.
Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program courses.
