Electromechanical Maintenance Degree Pathway (AAS)

 KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM   


Electromechanical Maintenance addresses the demand for specialized technicians. The program will allow students to gain employable skills utilized to operate, test, maintain, or adjust unmanned, automated, servomechanical, or electromechanical equipment. These skills may qualify students to assist engineers in testing and designing robotics equipment as well in other industry sectors. 

Students may progress through the program and complete technical certificates along the way with multiple exit points with each level adding more employable skills. The Cert A exit point will allow for a student to be hired as an entry-level maintenance worker. The Cert B will allow the student to be hired as a competent maintenance personnel which can perform most basic maintenance work in the area industry job settings. The Cert C will allow the student to work on the advanced electronic equipment and perform robotic repairs.
