Description: This course represents the first of an eight (8) credit hour Anatomy and Physiology course and is designed to provide students with a thorough study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. The student is expected to enroll in the second half of the course (BIO 4149) during the same academic year, and both courses (BIO4148 and BIO 4149) must be taken to be equivalent to BIO4150 - Human Anatomy & Physiology (T►). Lecture and lab studies will include: organization of the body; cells; tissues; membranes and glands; skeletal; muscular; nervous; sensory and endocrine systems.

Course Classification: 2 cr. Lecture/2 cr. Lab
Prerequisite(s): The student must complete one of the following, BIO4111 - Principles of Biology (T►), BIO4110 - Biology Review, or successful completion of a life science lab class within the past five years.
