Description: This course is devised to introduce the student to forms of discontinuities in the manufacturing and service life of a part. Provide students with an understanding of how and why a specific nondestructive testing method is chosen. To acquaint students with visual inspection techniques, and their correct use. This course is designed to meet certain Nondestructive Testing Level II certification requirements.

Prerequisite(s): Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require instructor’s approval.
