AGR1271 - Equine Production II ($) 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Technical Elective ($) Special Funding Identifier: KS Excel in CTE Initiative Description: This class will provide an in-depth study of genetics, nutrition and feeding, reproduction, breeding as it pertains to horses. Topics will include foal growth and development, facility design, transportation, management, and welfare issues pertaining to the horse.
NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require instructor’s approval.
Prerequisite(s): AGR1250 - Animal Nutrition ($) and AGR1270 - Equine Production I ($)
