Description: This course examines the history, scope, and nature of law. It focuses on the parties to a crime; classification of offenses; criminal acts and intent; the capacity to commit crime; and criminal defenses. It will cover the elements of misdemeanor and felony crimes.

NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require instructor’s approval.
