EMS5681 - Paramedic 1

Elective Type: Technical Elective
Description: This is the first course of the paramedic technical curriculum and helps prepare the student for progression through the program. The student will develop fundamental depth and foundational breadth in the principles and practice of paramedic-level patient care.

NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require department approval.

Prerequisite(s): Student selected to enter the paramedic program. At the start of the course, each student will be required to have a background check and urinalysis completed.
