MEC3480 - Automation & Controls ($) 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Technical Elective ($) Special Funding Identifier: KS Excel in CTE Initiative Description: This course incorporates programming, interfacing, and troubleshooting of automated systems. Students will be introduced to the theory and application of computer aided manufacturing, operations, networks, programs, program designs, rapid prototyping and the different controls and systems used in manufacturing, food processing and agriculture.
NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require department approval.
