Description: Safety precautions and the use, care, and history of GTAW and cutting equipment are stressed in this course. This course also serves as an introduction to the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process set up and operations. The PAC process and other related cutting and gouging methods are also introduced in this course.

NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require department approval.
