Description: This course serves as an introduction to welding codes, metallurgy, and the weldability of materials. GTAW and FCAW of pipe weldments and also related advanced welding processes are introduced in this course.

NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require department approval.
