Description: The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the construction industry trades. The course covers safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, rigging, communication skills, and employability skills. Successful completion results in the nationally recognized NCCER CORE credential.

NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require department approval.
