Description: The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course helps prepare the student for certification and practice as an EMR in Kansas. The EMR class is a basic level EMS course that covers basic life support for trauma and medical patients, CPR, and patient assessment. This course is an excellent preparatory class for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class.
