CST3262 - Construction Basics ($) 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Technical ($) Special Funding Identifier: KS Excel in CTE Initiative Description: The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the construction industry trades. The course covers blueprint reading, rigging, communication skills, employability skills, and material handling. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be prepared to sit for CORE certification with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). This course is a prerequisite for all NCCER credentialed programs.
NOTE: Students must earn a “C” or better to receive credit toward a technical degree, certificate, or continuance into pre-requisite or program coursework. Any exception would require department approval.
