Description: An alternative to the traditional Contemporary Mathematics class, which covers the same material over a five-credit hour span per week instead of three. The extra class time will be spent working with students who need just in time instruction to successfully complete Contemporary Mathematics. This college-level contemporary math course is designed to develop students’ abilities to understand and apply mathematical concepts in real-world contexts. This course is a gateway course for liberal art majors and other non-science majors.

NOTE: 50% of the course grade will come from proctored assessments which will include a face-to-face final exam at one of the Cowley testing locations.
