MTH4420 - College Algebra 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Math Elective Kansas Regents Shared Number: [KRSN MAT1010] Special Funding Identifier: AcceleRate This course is an introduction of algebraic functions and some transcendental functions with application in business and life, natural, and social sciences. Topics include solving equations, zeros, rational functions, matrices, exponentials, logarithms, and systems. Additional topics are included as time permits. This course requires that the students furnish their TI-83 or TI-84 series graphing calculator. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in MTH4410 - Intermediate Algebra or MTH4411 Intermediate Algebra with Review, satisfactory course placement assessment, or 21 ACT math score.
