AGR1224 - The Meat We Eat 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective An overview of the Animal Protein Industry. Areas examined are production, inspection, safety, grading, processing, preparation, storage, and current issues for beef, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, fish and animal by products within the industry. The course will also explore animal protein consumption in humans and its importance in the diet. Prerequisite(s): AGR 1267 Principles of Animal Science and AGR 1268 Animal Science & Industry
