BIO4135 - General Biology II 5 hour(s) Elective Type: Laboratory Science Kansas Regents Shared Number: [KRSN BIO1030/1031/1032] A study of the fundamental concepts of biology as they apply to levels of organization, from the bacteria through the vertebrates, and ecosystems. Lecture emphasis is on the organization, physiology, and diversity of life as studied through the kingdoms. Laboratory work emphasizes the structural comparison of major kingdoms and phyla. Prerequisite(s): Advanced high school Biology class (HS Biology II, A & P, etc., complete BIO4111 - Principles of Biology or BIO 4125 - General Biology I with a “C” or higher, or a science ACT score of 21.
