3hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Kansas Regents Shared Number: [KRSN THT 1050] Schedule Note: Spring only This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of vocal use for the stage and screen. Students will develop techniques to expand breath support, vocal range and dynamics; learn precise articulation and speech practices; discover vocal anatomy; and introduce implementation of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Through this course students will develop their own progression of vocal exercises for practical application.
