KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM
The Medical Office Support certificate will prepare the student for employment in an entry-level position in a medical office. Students will acquire skills in proofreading, business English, document formatting, medical terminology, medical coding, and medical office procedures, as well as anatomy and physiology designed for the allied health care worker. Professionalism and flexibility are also stressed in the program, as employers are looking for employees who exhibit these characteristics.
