KANSAS PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBLE PROGRAM
Provides an entry level skills in blueprint reading, safety, shop theory, setup and operation of conventional weld machine tools, and basic skills in a variety of welding processes identified as necessary by welding employers and serves as the foundation for the Associate of Applied Science degree.
NOTE: Students are expected to demonstrate understanding and mastery of skills needed for career readiness as they progress through program coursework. A minimum grade of “C” is required on all technical coursework for successful completion of the technical certificate or degree.
