Agriculture: Farm and Ranch Management Degree (AAS) Pathway

The Farm and Ranch Management Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree pathway provides a wide array of coursework from both the production and agricultural business areas. The program prepares students for work in the various sectors of the industry, including agri-food, agricultural production (plant and livestock), precision farming, agri-business and finance, pest management, soil or other conservation management, and food processing. Students can earn Vocational Certificates as they progress through coursework for the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.

Complete a minimum of 22 hours of additional Agriculture courses based upon area of emphasis.

Minimum Hours for a Degree 62*


*The AAS degree requires students complete the program with at least 62 credit hours within the pathway. Students have the option of acquiring additional credit and experience with presenting oral reasons and learning principles of livestock rations.
