The Associate of Science transfer pathway in Biology enables students to transfer to the four-year school of their choice to continue their education. Doctors of all kinds and many scientists often earn a bachelor’s degree in one area of science before continuing their education in a particular field. The basic courses taken at Cowley College will transfer to state colleges and universities, as well as most other schools throughout the nation.

The following courses are the Science/Math electives required for this pathway. Recommended Transfer Pathway Electives (14 hours minimum)*
The Associate of Science degree requires a minimum of 14 hours of pathway electives. Students should work with their advisor and transfer institution to determine the most appropriate courses within this block. Minimum Hours for Degree 62*
*A minimum of 62 hours is required to earn a Cowley degree, however additional credit hours may be outlined on the transfer pathway to meet the program requirements for a 4-year institution. Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program courses. |
