Health Services Management & Community Development Transfer Pathway (AA)


Employment in the health care sector is projected to grow faster than average when compared to other career clusters. Because of this, and the local, regional, and national employer needs, Cowley College has developed a transfer degree that will prepare students to become leaders in health care. This degree was designed for students to get their first two years of college with Cowley College and their last two years with Wichita State University to obtain a bachelor’s degree. We truly believe that you would best be served by starting at Cowley College and going on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University.

Program Note:
This program is designed to transfer specifically to Wichita State University with a 2+2 program agreement. Students planning to transfer to other universities are encouraged to contact an advisor at the university to design a program of study.

*A minimum of 62 hours is required to earn a Cowley Degree, however additional credit hours may be outlined on the transfer pathway to meet the program requirements for a transfer institution. 

Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program courses.
