Physics Transfer Pathway (AS)

The Associate of Science transfer pathway in physics enables students to transfer to the four-year school of their choice to continue their education. Physics combines the abstract concepts of mathematics and philosophy with applied aspects of instrumentation and engineering. The basic courses taken at Cowley College will transfer to state colleges and universities, as well as most other schools throughout the nation.

Recommended Transfer Pathway Electives (13-15 hours minimum)*
The Associate of Science degree requires a minimum of 13-15 hours of pathway electives depending on the number of credits on the Math requirement completed. Students should work with their advisor and transfer institution to determine the most appropriate courses within this block.
Minimum Hours for a Degree 62*
*A minimum of 62 hours is required to earn a Cowley Degree, however additional credit hours may be outlined on the transfer pathway to meet the program requirements for a transfer institution.
Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program courses. Math sequence may vary.
