Provides an entry level skills in blueprint reading, safety, shop theory, setup and operation of conventional weld machine tools, and basic skills in a variety of welding processes identified as necessary by welding employers and serves as the foundation for the Associate of Applied Science degree.

Depending on skill level and assessment scores, students may be required to take the necessary basic skill or prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in the program. Credentialing: OSHA10 |
