Description: This course is designed to provide the individual with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a hospital-based or independent home health agency. Upon completion of this 20-hour course, the student must pass a state examination to become certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA).

Prerequisite(s): Must hold a Kansas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate and meet or exceed minimum reading standards of eighth grade level.
