ART2150 - Elementary Art Methods 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Description: This course is for those who plan to go into elementary education. It is a studio course with a hands-on approach designed so that anyone desiring to be a teacher (K-8) can design, implement, and evaluate arts experiences that are developmentally appropriate, meaningful and challenging for all students, that lead to positive learning outcomes and that develop positive attitudes toward artistic explorations and expressions. This course is designed for education majors but is open to all students who wish to learn more about working with art and young children.
Prerequisite(s): Student must have completed or concurrently enrolled in EDU6211 - Introduction to Teaching Profession (T►) .
