The course prepares students to create positive outcomes from incidents and promote a safety culture in their fire department. Upon completion of the course, the student will develop competencies to increase understanding and skills in promoting a culture of safety, enforcing accountability, developing fitness standards, providing emotional support, eliminating unsafe acts, and applying risk management techniques.
