Anthropology is a multidisciplinary, scientific study of the human condition. Through the traditional four fields of cultural anthropology, archaeology, biological/physical anthropology, and linguistics, anthropologists examine every aspect of humanity in a holistic, comparative, and evolutionary way. Upon completion of the Anthropology Transfer Pathway from Cowley College, students will have a solid foundation for a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university. Depending on specialization, anthropology majors can pursue careers in human resources, museums, government, military, advocacy, and non-profit sectors, as well as research and teaching.
NOTE: This pathway is specifically aligned with Wichita State University’s (WSU) 2+2 articulated agreement to meet the requirements for admission into their program. Students who wish to transfer to an alternate university should work with their advisor to determine the course selections appropriate for transfer to another university’s Bachelor program.
