ENG2262 - Poetry Writing 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Elective Schedule Note: Fall only Description: A course designed to analyze poetry and encourage the writing skills of students through use of various methods of brainstorming and poetry writing. Emphasis is on identifying and analyzing writing elements and techniques, generating ideas, modeling professional poetry writing, and critiquing and revising one’s own writing and the works of others. Critical analysis of writings will be used to aid in developing students’ thinking, support of thesis/message and style.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or higher in ENG2260 - Creative Writing (T►) (SGE) or instructor approval.
