AMP3371 - Turbine Engines & Auxiliary Power 3 hour(s) Elective Type: Technical ($) Special Funding Identifier: KS Excel in CTE Initiative Schedule Note: Scheduled only through Workforce Training Department Description: This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of removal and replacement of turbine engines as well as inspection of mounting systems. Procedures used on various types of aircraft and aircraft engines will be discussed as well as safety practices. The course covers safety practices and maintenance practices for proper inspection, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. This course includes information regarding operational theory, inspection, service, and repair of auxiliary power units.
Prerequisite(s): Entry is contingent on completion of the FAA General Curriculum: AMG 3350, 3351, 3352, 3353, 3354, & 3355.
