The Associate of Arts Degree is outlined as a two-year degree and designed to transfer.  A minimum of 62 credit hours in the designated areas are required to complete the Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts. (No particular major area of emphasis).   The 27 Elective credits of coursework should be selected based upon the student’s area of emphasis for their transfer major.
