NOTE:  THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING REVISION.  STUDENTS INTERESTED IN AGRICULTURE SHOULD BE ADVISED UNDER THE FARM AND RANCH   PROGRAM DURING THIS ACADEMIC YEAR. 

 

The Precision Agriculture Program offers opportunities to study current and emerging technologies associated with modern agriculture. The student will study the basic principles of GIS and GPS that are applied to site-specific management of production agriculture. The student will be introduced to the tools, hardware, and software needed to be successful in today’s agriculture.

Students have the opportunity to build upon knowledge and earn the Associate of Applied Science Degree as they move through completing embedded technical certificates in the program with Technical Certificate A, B or C awards.
